Spring Cleaning time: Delete non-essential Zoom Cloud Recordings
Have you recorded Zoom meetings to the Cloud? Did you record some accidentally? Have recordings you won't need in the future? These recordings take up space, sometimes a LOT of space, and many are never viewed again. Time to clean them out!
Some of your recordings may come in handy in the future for academic purposes, but others surely don't. If you really need to save a recording of that thrilling 7-hour D&D quest, or the birthday celebration with Aunt Gertrude, or the spine-tingling 16-hour footage of an empty classroom, please download it and then delete the original from Zoom Cloud Storage.
Just follow the instructions at this website to delete (or download and then delete) your Zoom cloud recordings so we can free up costly cloud storage space for future semesters.
And if you're graduating, congratulations! Now is the time to download what you want to keep and then delete all cloud recordings from your Willamette Zoom account. Instructions are in the attachment.
Faculty: Feel free to leave important recordings intended for use in future courses in Zoom Cloud storage. Just be sure to clear out ones you won't need any longer.
