WISE, the Willamette Instructional Support Environment, is a learning and collaboration system that provides course sites for official university courses and project sites for committee work, student organizations, collaborative research projects and other university-related activities.
Logging in to WISE: Click the login button at the top of the screen and enter your regular Willamette user name and password. Guest users: enter your full email address and the password you received via email. The temporary password can be reset using the Account tool at your HOME screen.
Finding your sites: Course sites you are enrolled in are available once logged on. Favorites will be displayed as tabs. To add courses as tabs and modify their order, mark them as Favorites using the SITES tool in the upper-right corner of your browser window.
Support: Students: If you can't find a course you believe you should have access to, contact the related faculty member to ensure you are enrolled and the course site is published and available. Faculty/Staff: Contact your User Services Consultant for issues related to WISE course and project sites. If immediate assistance is required, please email wise-admin@willamette.edu.
Project Sites: To request a project site, email wise-admin@willamette.edu. In your email, please include the name you would like for your site, a brief description of the site and the proposed duration (i.e., fall term 08, academic year 08-09, forever). Students must also include the name of a faculty sponsor.
Scheduled Maintenance: WISE may be unavailable on Fridays from 4-6 p.m. so that WITS can perform maintenance tasks.
